Studio Policies
We want The Pivot Pilates + Strength to be a welcoming, safe, and seamless experience for everyone. Please review our studio policies before your first class.
Booking & Arrival
Classes may be booked in advance through our online booking system. Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first visit so you have time to get settled and familiarize yourself with the studio.
For everyone's safety and to minimize disruption, late entry is not permitted more than 10 minutes after class begins.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We know plans change! If you need to cancel a class, please do so at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time.
Cancellations made within 12 hours of class are considered late cancellations.
Late Cancellation: $15 fee
No-Show: $20 fee
Late cancellations and no-shows may also result in the loss of the class credit used for the reservation, as applicable to your membership or package.
Waitlist
If a class is full, we encourage you to join the waitlist. When a spot becomes available, clients will be notified through our booking system. Please keep an eye on your notifications if you're waitlisted for a class.
Grip Socks
Grip socks are required for all Reformer classes. Bring your own or purchase a pair at the studio.
What to Wear
Wear comfortable, fitted athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. For safety, we recommend avoiding loose clothing or jewelry that could get caught in the Reformer.
Phones & Personal Belongings
Please silence and put away cell phones during class so everyone can enjoy a focused, distraction-free experience. Personal belongings should be stored in the designated area.
Age Requirement
Clients must be 16 or older to participate in group classes. Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete the required waiver and consent documentation before participating.
Pregnancy
For the safety of our clients, we do not allow participation in group Reformer classes after 16 weeks of pregnancy. We would be happy to discuss private sessions and other appropriate options during pregnancy.
Injuries & Health Considerations
Please let your instructor know before class about any injuries, physical limitations, recent surgeries, or other considerations that may affect your ability to participate safely. Instructors may recommend modifications or suggest a private session when individualized attention would be more appropriate.
Participation is always subject to our studio waiver and assumption-of-risk policies.
Memberships
Memberships are billed monthly according to the terms of the membership purchased. Membership changes or cancellations require 30 days' notice.
Classes included with a monthly membership are intended for use during that membership period and are subject to the terms of your specific membership agreement.
Studio Etiquette
Please be respectful of your instructor and fellow clients by arriving on time, following instructor guidance, and helping us maintain a welcoming environment.
Food, pets, and phone use during class are not permitted in the studio. Service animals are welcome as required by law.
Questions?
We want you to feel comfortable and confident every time you walk through our doors. If you have questions about which class is right for you, an injury or limitation, your membership, or anything else, please reach out. We're happy to help.

Membership Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a membership with The Pivot Pilates + Strength (“Pivot”), you agree to the following Membership Terms & Conditions.
These Terms are incorporated into each purchase confirmation issued by Pivot. The purchase confirmation identifies the client, acceptance date, purchased services, price, billing frequency, minimum purchase obligation, service start date, exact initial term or package expiration date, applicable renewal terms, and statutory cancellation information. Pivot will provide the client with a retainable copy of both documents at acceptance.
1. Membership Billing
Memberships are billed automatically each month to the payment method on file. Your membership will renew monthly on your billing date unless canceled in accordance with the cancellation terms below.
Membership rates are subject to change. Members will be provided advance notice of any change to their membership rate.
2. Initial Commitment
Monthly memberships require an initial three (3) month commitment.
After the initial three-month commitment, your membership will continue on a month-to-month basis until canceled in accordance with these terms.
3. Membership Options
Pivot currently offers the following monthly memberships:
4 Classes per Month — $150/month
8 Classes per Month — $275/month
12 Classes per Month — $340/month
Membership classes may be used for eligible group Reformer classes during the applicable membership period.
Memberships and class credits are for the individual member only and may not be transferred, shared, or resold.
4. Founding Member Rates
Founding Member rates are available for a limited time to eligible members in Pivot’s sole discretion:
4 Classes per Month — $135/month
8 Classes per Month — $240/month
12 Classes per Month — $300/month
Founding Member pricing is guaranteed for the member’s first six (6) months of continuous membership. After six months, the membership will automatically transition to the then-current regular rate for the corresponding membership level.
Founding Member pricing is contingent upon maintaining continuous membership. If a Founding Membership is canceled, the Founding Member rate is forfeited and cannot be reinstated.
Founding Member classes may be used for eligible group Reformer classes during the applicable membership period.
5. Membership Credits
Monthly class credits are issued at the beginning of each billing cycle.
Membership credits must be used during the applicable billing cycle. Unused credits expire at the end of the billing cycle and do not roll over to future months.
Unused credits have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable.
6. Changing Your Membership
Members may request to move to a different membership level by contacting Pivot at hello@thepivotpilates.com.
Membership changes require 30 days’ notice and will take effect with the applicable billing cycle following the notice period.
Membership changes are subject to current membership pricing and availability.
7. Membership Cancellation
Membership cancellations require 30 days’ notice and may not take effect prior to completion of the initial three-month commitment.
Cancellation requests must be submitted via email at hello@thepivotpilates.com, including any online cancellation option provided through your account or through any other cancellation method required by applicable law.
Cancellation will stop future renewal charges and will be effective at the end of the client’s then-current paid billing period, unless an earlier effective date is required by law. This paragraph does not limit any earlier cancellation or refund right provided below or by law.
Cancellation does not provide a refund for previously charged membership fees or unused class credits, except where required by law.
Special Cancellation and Refund Rights
A client (or the client's estate) may cancel if death or a physician-verified disability prevents use of the Activities. A client may also cancel after moving more than 25 miles from the Studio if the membership cannot be transferred. In each case, future payment obligations end and any prepaid amount allocable to unused services will be refunded as required by law. Pivot will not charge a relocation cancellation fee unless a specific lawful fee is disclosed at purchase. A client may also cancel and receive any refund required by law if Pivot fails to begin agreed services when promised or eliminates or substantially reduces contracted facilities other than temporarily for reasonable repairs, modifications, substitutions or improvements. Any refund due following cancellation will be issued within the period required by applicable law.
8. Membership Pauses
Members may pause their membership once per calendar year for up to 30 consecutive days.
Pause requests must be submitted in advance. Membership billing and benefits will resume automatically at the end of the approved pause period.
Additional accommodations may be considered for pregnancy, injury, medical circumstances, or other significant situations at Pivot’s discretion and as required by applicable law.
For Founding Members, a pause does not extend the six-month Founding Rate period.
9. Class Reservations
Class reservations are subject to availability. Membership does not guarantee access to a particular class, instructor, class time, or schedule.
Pivot may add, remove, reschedule, or substitute classes and instructors in its discretion.
10. Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Members are responsible for canceling reservations within Pivot’s stated cancellation window.
A late cancellation will result in the loss of the class credit used for the reservation and a $15 late cancellation fee.
A no-show will result in the loss of the class credit used for the reservation and a $20 no-show fee.
Applicable fees will be charged to the payment method on file.
11. Late Arrival
For safety and to minimize disruption to other clients, members arriving more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start of class may not be permitted to participate.
If you are denied entry due to late arrival, the reservation may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.
12. Studio Policies
Members agree to follow all Pivot studio policies, safety instructions, and instructor directions.
Grip socks are required for Reformer classes.
Cell phone use is not permitted during class except in an emergency.
Members must be at least 16 years old to participate in group classes. Participants under 18 must have appropriate parent or guardian consent.
Additional studio and class policies may apply and are available from Pivot.
13. Health & Safety
Members are responsible for informing instructors of injuries, physical limitations, pregnancy, or other conditions that may affect their ability to safely participate.
Participation in group classes may not be appropriate for every individual or condition. Pivot may recommend private instruction or request medical clearance when appropriate.
These Terms are separate from Pivot's Liability Waiver and Release. Participation requires completion of all applicable waivers, releases and consent forms.
14. Payment Method
Members must maintain a valid payment method on file.
If a payment is declined or cannot be processed, Pivot may temporarily suspend booking privileges or membership access until the outstanding balance is resolved.
Members remain responsible for amounts owed under their membership agreement.
15. Refunds
Membership payments are generally non-refundable. Pivot does not provide refunds or account credits for unused classes, missed classes, vacations, scheduling conflicts, or failure to use a membership, except where required by law or expressly approved by Pivot.
16. Studio Closures & Schedule Changes
Pivot may operate a reduced schedule on holidays and may occasionally close or modify its schedule due to maintenance, weather, emergencies, special events, instructor availability, or circumstances outside of Pivot’s reasonable control.
Reasonable schedule changes or temporary closures do not automatically entitle members to refunds or membership extensions.
17. Changes to These Terms
Pivot may update these Membership Terms & Conditions from time to time. Members will be notified of material changes as required by applicable law.
